Introduction to Blogging

Chances are you would have heard about blogging by now, and decided that this is some new phenomenon that does not include you as a participant. However do take a little time to explore whether this is really the case, or you simply needed to find out how it works, in the simplest form possible. Let’s start at the beginning shall we?

The word “blog” is a combination of two words – web and log. Basically it is a platform for individuals to share their thoughts on the internet. For most people, a blog is a diary and for others, who have certain specific interests or passions, a blog is an opportunity to share knowledge and information about the area of interest. It is not difficult to become a blogger (the term used for one who blogs), and as long as you have something to say, can write your thoughts down in a cogent order without spelling and grammatical errors, and are willing to do this regularly, you have the potential to become a blogger.
